Churchill Downs x Little Miss Ruby - In full training at Jason Warren Racing
Hi fellow Might Power Club members,
I'm very pleased to report that 'Gemma' (Churchill Downs x Little Miss Ruby) arrived at Jason Warren Racing stables on Friday October 28th and has settled in very well.
With 6 weeks of pre-training at Peter Moran's (The Meadows) property she has a good fitness base and we should be able to get her doing some pace within a week.
She has also already been through our swimming pool and took that in her stride.
Over the coming weeks she will work at Denistoun Park's grass and sand tracks, at the Mornington race course (that has 2 sand & 2 grass tracks), and also work on the beach at Balnarring.
Jason was impressived with her and thinks she looks a nice type with some potential.
We will aium to at least get her to a jump out this time in work, although how far we can get with her this preparation depends upon how she holds up over the next 4-6 weeks. She does still have some growing and maturing to do.
