"Good blokes who love thoroughbred racing"
The Might and Power Club is an incorporated association (No. A0050590S) based in Melbourne, Australia.
It is a private (members only), non-profit, social club for Thoroughbred Horse Racing enthusiasts that was formed in 2006 by Mike Power and David Mahony.
We currently have 4 'racing lunches' a year, at esteemed Melbourne establishments.
The lunches include not only great food and a chance to socialise, but have included a range of guest speakers.

Churchill Downs x Little Miss Ruby - In full training at Jason Warren Racing

I'm very pleased to report that 'Gemma' (Churchill Downs x Little Miss Ruby) arrived at Jason Warren Racing stables on Friday October 28th and has settled in very well.
With 6 weeks of pre-training at Peter Moran's (The Meadows) property she has a good fitness base and we should be able to get her...

Came into work (pre-training) on 12/9 at The Meadows (www.meadowsthoroughbreds.com).
Got a couple of boils (they have been going around of late) but didn't really miss much work (was lunged instead of trot and canter for a few days) and is all good now.
Will be another 2-3 weeks before going to Moody's.

Churchill Downs - Little Miss Ruby filly

The Churchill Downs - Little Miss Ruby filly has been in pre-training at The Meadows for 4 weeks now and is doing well.
She is quite a headstrong type and is developing into a solid filly.
She will head back to Peter Moody's in around 4 weeks time, for her second preparation.
